Life has changed greatly for the Brennan family and now its Sarah's turn for her story to be told. Her story is tougher in some ways then from her sister's in the first and second book as she isn't the most likable person. She's jealous, suspicious, more than a little anxious and depressed and trying hard to keep her kids and husband functioning. Frankly I think some medication for her son would've been benefitted the kid but the author chose otherwise. It was nice that Bree was staying although not entirely by choice as well as knowing how the relationship went with Jude and Kit. Hoping that one day Cass and Tommy, and Bree will also have their own books someday. So...it's tough because I want to love ALL the books. And in all fairness, I stopped reading about 1/3 of the way into it. It was just too contrived for me; lots of pro ball players, or almost pro ball players, lots of heartache (deaths, molestation, unlikable kid). Then add in the two sentences sprinkled here and there, almost as afterthoughts, of heated sexuality. Maybe all of that was a lead up to a fantastic ending, but I just couldn't stick it out.
What do You think about The Good Wife (2013)?
I enjoyed this book...very interesting to hear about life as a baseball wife.
