The second Trickster novel, it is just as good as the first, but in ways better. The introductions are out of the way and we know these characters. They are familiar, and they are now evolving. Rob Thurman is awesome at character development and it always shows. The story is simple - stop armageddon. It is the who is bringing it, why, how and the how to stop it, that are complex and intricate and great fun to read. Loved it and cannot wait for the next book in the series. Nice brainless dark fantasy fluff (and anyone who thinks those three words can't go together has never read Rob Thurman)Some nice character moments as Trixa is left fully human after the events of Book 1, and Leo's left... well, not quite, but not far off it.I had some problems with the Loki moments due to interference from the last Avengers movie, but they didn't get in the way of me enjoying the book overall, and if Ms Thurman writes another novel in the Trickster set, I'm pretty certain I'll be reading it :-)
What do You think about The Grimrose Path (2010)?
This is only my second Thurman book but I have really enjoyed both and will be looking for more

I really like this series. No big twist in this one but it was still good.
