The Healing Codes, Unlocking The Cellular Sequence Of Life (2005) - Plot & Excerpts

I first heard of this book through a monthly newsletter I receive from James Bruggeman. His initial excitement upon discovering the book convinced me I needed to read it. So I bought a copy for my Kindle. This book is easy to read, but it will challenge how you think because it presents an entirely new model of healing. It is not based on traditional medicine or even alternative health practices. It is based on the idea that we are energy and that stress is the cause of all illness. The Healing Code itself is not presented until about 60% of the way through the book. All the material leading up to that point is intended to re-frame how you think about health. This is critical. Without any context or background information, The Healing Code will seem silly. It's only after you understand the foundational principles that The Healing Code makes sense.I've only just finished reading the book today, so I've not begun using The Healing Code yet, but I plan to. And I'm eager to see what results I experience. As with The Emotion Code book by Dr. Bradley Nelson, The Healing Code is an adventure into the simplicity of healing. Think about God's design of the human being in His likeness. God is perfect. If we are like him, we are perfect too as long as we rid ourselves of the ego and our human bodies. Underneath, over, above, within our deepest selves lives our souls. That being said, the authors Alexander Loyd and Ben Johnson, explain through science and experience that memories are stored in our cells not in our brains. Consequently, negative and traumatic memories are stored in our cells thereby creating stress and disrupting the smooth flow of energy in our bodies. Loyd claims that using the healing code technique he describes and has had success with, we can potentially heal any health issue we may have. He adds a disclaimer, of course, that healing chronic illness like cancer and or rheumatoid arthritis, may be aided through nutrition and exercise along with the healing code."An amazing aspect of all this is that no Healing Code ever "treats" any health issues. The Healing Codes only address the 'issues of the heart' that Solomon wrote about more than 3,000 years ago . . ." Again, the theory behind the Healing Codes is the disruption of the energy system so when we straighten and smooth out that disruption, we allow our bodies to work properly to heal ourselves.Between the Emotion Code, the Healing Code, and another theory I'm researching called the Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT--all of these techniques are based on the same principles and are supported by scientific research linking them to acupuncture points and meridians--I can honestly say from personal experience that once put into practice, one or a combination of all, work. For example, I have had a nagging lower back pain for many years. It's usually not enough to put me out of commission, just enough to let me know its there. Releasing trapped emotions and concentrating on my lower back, has relieved it so much that all I feel now can only be described as shadow pain. It's so used to hurting that it doesn't know what else to do.If you are at all interested in your own ability to heal yourself, read The Healing Code with an open mind. Give it a try. In a few moments of your precious time, your own body can heal itself. All I can say is, psychotherapists and pharmaceutical companies beware. The more people tap into (pun intended) these techniques, the less dependent we will be on methods and pills outside of ourselves.
