The Hunger Games Trilogy Classic (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
*may contain some spoilers if you read this series for the 1st time*The first and the second book was great. The whole triangle love thing, i loved it. And Peeta isn't useless , he actually helps Katniss a lot. But the third one was just...bland. I read the first two books in total four days but It took me a week to finish the third book because it was so boring and long at the beginning , except the part about Prim's death, that was really surprised me and Finnick's death too.I still don't like Katniss. And the second book is definitely my favorite of this series, with new characters, new arena...Anyway, it's a good book. it is absolutely amazing. I was so reluctant to read the series but when I started the first book, I just couldn't put it down! I ended up finishing it in two weeks and a half weeks! Some of my friends are disappointed about Katniss's choice with regards to her partner, but I say not at all! It was clear throughout the novel that one was no match for the other. On the other hand, Collins brought my feelings of frustration to life by her portrayal of the corrupt systems of government. Really and truly, they are all the same: they promise change but only bring more atrocity and corruption. They all have a relentless apetite for power. One word: BRILLIANT!
