Did this author stalk my life or what??? Only I am the one who decided I was the husband maker, and I often tell my friends if anyone is looking for their someone, all they need to do is date me... Which is why I had to read this book. In one sitting. And I can't believe I am left hanging!! Oh the agony!I loved this story. I loved the characters. It touched my heart, and I could feel everything Charlotte did. I cried and cried at certain parts too, it all was entirely too real to me. I have never read a romance book quite like this one, and I hope I like where the series ends up. I have my fingers crossed! And maybe just maybe if Charlotte gets her happily ever after, I will too... ;) I have to say first that I am team Angus all the way. I so want Charlotte with Angus. That being said I see this as a journey for Charlotte, a completion of self in where she sees who she is and what she desires. I did feel horrible over Kyle. That was such a sweet, kind, gentle, caring guy but his goals and Charlotte's were not the same. They loved each other enough and respected each other enough to let go. So so sad.The writing is captivating. Ms. White has woven a that is just to good to pass up. Charlotte is truly the epitome of always a bridesmaid never a bride except for her it goes one step further and everyman she dates the girl after her is who they marry. Kyle though was the most heart wrenching for they truly loved one another and if I am right on who it is wowza. Angus her friend since childhood is always there to help her pick up the pieces. Their therapy is BBQ so loving that. But Angus is clearly in love with her and is facing some difficult decisions as well. It is only fate that steps in and forces angus's hand in his decision much to Charlotte's relief who doesn't deal with change well.Charlotte is a complete character flawed and all. She is what we all see in ourselves. We see our flaws and are all a little self conscious. What makes charlotte wonderful is no matter what she sees the sunny side of things. Always a good sport and never letting things show. Always finding the silver lining well until her heart is broken but even there she finds happiness and goodness. Kyle the love interest is so sweet but has political aspirations. He is patient with Charlotte and defends her but he cannot give up his dream of doing good for love. We learn sometimes love just isn't enough. Another adage comes in in this story and that is if you love someone set them free, if they were yours they will come back if not they never were.We see this here with Kyle and Charlotte but also in a way with Angus and Charlotte. Angus needs to be set free but fate did step in there. Charlotte needs to see Angus for what he is her soulmate dangit.I truly think Angus and Charlotte are perfect for one another. It may take Charlotte time to see it. This is such a sweet cute story of a woman who is inadvertently labeled the husband maker in college and she is set up with someone. They fall for one another but have different hopes and dreams in the meantime there is a wonderful guy in the background waiting for her to see him. A wonderfully written clean romance. Look forward to the next and again team Angus all the way
