I seen this book at a BJs when I went to visit my family in Pennsylvania. What drew me to the first book was the cover. After looking at the cover, I read the introduction. It seemed rather interesting. After reading the first two books from the series; I pretty much lost interest in the series. I'd recommend the series to someone who enjoys a long suspense as well as someone who enjoys reading fantasy fiction novels. I've read all the immortals books (there are 6 or 7 of them total, I think) and at first, they were interesting. After a few of them though, I have to admit, I got a little bored. The first 2 or 3 books had their own complete stories with endings (but were still connected to the series as a whole). The remaining books were just one long drawn out story about the same thing with no ending or problem resolving until the final book. The main character, Ever, becomes completely annoying with her never ending parade of BAD choices, and the millions of obstacles she and her boyfriend face in order to have sex make the books redundant and boring.
