The Joy Of Hate: How To Triumph Over Whiners In The Age Of Phony Outrage (2012) - Plot & Excerpts

The Joy of Hate is by far one of the best and definitely one of the most truthful and "to the point" books I have ever read. Greg's purpose in writing this book was to try to inform readers of the left's pretend message of "tolerance" except when it comes to people who don't think like them or to people who should be like them. He wanted to show us that no matter what we do, the left will continue to find some way that we are not a tolerant people.I think that the theme of this book is, don't allow people to influence you and your beliefs just because it doesn't coincide with theirs. Greg knew that not everyone would like this book because it exposes the truth about a majority of people on the left.I'd say that this book is an informative book and the author wanted to describe life and politics in the United States. One example of what he talks about in this book is that the left would not tolerate a successful African American because it does not fit their image of one. Their image of an African American is one that is dependent on the government for help in their life. Gutfield nailed every point I've been trying to make over the last 8 years but couldn't quite find the words to do so myself regarding phoney outrage and PC ridiculousness. Gutfield calls out those who succumb to the stupidity in an eloquent way (if eloquent means blunt). I loved it because I'm tired of being called a racist because I vehemently disagree with certain ideas like communism and climate change.

Was pretty good, ran kind of along the lines of not cool. Best understood late at night.
