In The Knight of Redmond Lilly Tidwell had to overcome many adversities and come to accept who she is. The story itself was well written and good. However it wasn't my favorite. I liked the quotes at the beginning of each chapter, it was a good Segway into the chapter. I felt that there wasn't a lot of heart and soul when it came to Lilly and Wren's relationship. I liked most of the characters but most others were dull and not a whole lot of heart in them. There was a few funny and heartfelt scenes but not as much as I would have liked. The battle scenes were pretty interesting. I am always happy when a book ends well but I was hoping for more at the end with some of the characters. It wasn't a cliff. hanger but it was like a Segway for another book. Overall good book but not great!! I thought this book was very entertaining and very well written. It wasn't exactly what I thought it was going to be, but I liked how it had a lot of suspense and action. When I first started to read this book, I wasn't sure that I would like it, but then when I started to go further into the book it just started getting better and better. I never was really a fan of the medieval type of books, but this book changed my mind. I loved how this book included a love story as well. Books are way better when they have some type of love going on. I would really recommend this book to anyone if they needed a great book to read.
Probably more 4.5 stars. Was kinda slow in the beginning, but I had to stay up late to finish!
