The Final battle. Always bitter sweet. Sweet because you've been waiting for it, bitter because when you get to it, that means the series is coming to an end. In this case there is no bitter. Because there is a spin off series called the guardians! Woo Hoo!Alright. In The Last all the pieces come together and you finally see the big picture! And... you just have to read! It's just sooooo good.Lynnie Purcell, you are a very talented writer. One of my favorites. With Lorian and Darian out of the way the Saints take their fight to Marcus...which is easier said than done. They face new dangers at every turn but also gain new allies. I found this to be a very satisfying end to this series. The only problem I had in this book was the same I've had throughout...everyone expects full disclosure from Clare but if she tries to get in on any of their secrets they shut her down. It just got a tad irritating. Besides that I absolutely loved this series. Clare and Daniel are great and I enjoyed following their story.
