OK, you start with Isis,(Ice) throw in a Texan, add a curse and shake it all up…add a dash of attraction and you have an interesting mix to say the least. I am not a fan of any kind of overly graphic intimate details. I think I have enough imagination to picture what goes on behind closed doors, and in this case, a freezer door. Fortunately, it was not in bad taste and doesn’t take away from the story.I zipped through the book, thoroughly enjoyed the mix of characters and situations and came through feeling satisfied. This is a fun read, so enjoy! 3.5 stars - This was a cute contemporary romance with a hint of a mythological twist. I thought the concept was really interesting, and it was intriguing how the story progresses.I'm a sucker for single dads with little kids, and the story with Brodie is very touching. I liked how Ice was so reluctant to be trapped by Turner and Brodie but how they found their ways into her heart.My only complaint was about the attraction. It seemed like Firasek focused way to much on the sexual attraction. I mean Firasek was trying to portray Turner as a more sensitive father type character, and he thinking about what's in his pants the first two times he meets Ice. And the whole plane scene was a bit unrealistic - I mean who just feels up a stranger on a plane. And can they not really control themselves to make out in the hallway of an elementary school. I think I wish that it eased a bit more into the sexual relationship rather than so abruptly at the beginning - of each time they meet.Other than that, not a bad read at all. I enjoyed it, and it wasn't very long.
