I like Jenny Colgan a lot, her witty writing style is always amused me.. and I got hooked to this book when I read the preview, so I can't barely resist when there's a bargain price on the bookdepository. But when I delved further I lost my excitement.. All right..it still funny, but some of the character annoy me.. I'm sorry it just not the best book of Jenny as long as I read hers. My top pick is still "The Little Beach Street Bakery". I felt such a warm mixture of emotions from reading The Loveliest Chocolate Shop in Paris mostly exictment. What surprised me the most is how much I never wanted Claire's story to end I cecame so entranced with Claire's exhilarting past life in Paris. I eagerly devoured four chapters in one sitting rereading several pages at a time to grasp the characters emotions into movie squences.I am over joyed The Loveliest Chocolate Shop in Paris was the first Jenny Colgan book I have picked up from the bookshelf and simply is one of the best books I have read in ages. A book I gladly recommend to first time chick lit readers who want a good feel good moment.
Totally lost myself in this book and I think I cried through the last 50 pages.

What's not to like about Paris and chocolate? A fun read for my Florida trip.
