Tara is driving home one snowy day when her car gets rear ended. She meets Ryon, a cooking and brewing connoisseur. After exchanging information and him turning off her vibrator that fell off her passenger seat, they head back to his place so they don't freeze to death. That's when things start to heat up. Tara and Ryon were well suited for one another. They are both geeks and manage to throw out several different references/phrases throughout The Lumberfox. If you're not a geek, don't worry, you'll still be able to read this and understand what is going on. You might not giggle as much as I did, but you'll enjoy it. The story was fairly short and full of sexy times. The Lumberfox is a spicy read that left me entertained and wanting the next book. From the looks of it, you can read these in any order since each one has its own set of main characters. If you're a fan of Delilah Dawson, you're in luck, this is her "alter ego" writing geeky sexy stories! So I'm a big fan of Delilah Dawson, whose the real author with the pen name of Ava Lovelace, and I caught her post about this book/novella awhile ago. I've been busy; work and family stuff, so I let too much time pass. Or maybe not. Stressed out, way too busy, too much time spent away from my loving husband. I needed a release.I was reminded of The Lumberfox and downloaded it. Read it after everyone else went to bed. Funny, believable conversation and HOT HOT HOT. Lordy. Oh to be Melissa. If THIS is what Geekrotica is like, I'll be reading everything that's available. Or just pressure "Ava" to write some MORE.
What do You think about The Lumberfox (2000)?
Too short, way too short. It was a great little story, but it totally left me wanting more.

3.5 stars: cute, quick read. Loved the writing, wish it was a little longer.
