Only read psy-changling one. I really adore the H. He is playful, devoted and very understanding, not the domineering and commanding type at all. He understands the h's insecurity and though it is against his nature, he gives her time to accept the relationship. The h is also not a bit different with her insecurities, but she isn't annoying or weak and even knows by the end how to twist him around her little finger. I enjoy seeing how she florishes with joy by the end of the book. There isn't really any Christmas scene here except a quick mention at the end that links to the prologue and ties things neatly.I wish that something could be done about her father though. Also because this is only a novella, there isn't much suspense or danger in here, just a light and sweet character driven story, which I still like a lot. Only read psy-changling one. I have only read Nalini Singh's entry in this anthology. Stroke of Enticement is a stand alone story set in the Psy Changeling world. It is the story of Zach, a leopard changeling, and Annie, a human. The story focus is mostly on the h/h relationship and we don't get much of the Psy world in this one. It was a sweet story with a damaged heroine who can't quite believe that sexy shifter Zach is interested in her, I really enjoyed seeing Annie bloom under Zach's attention. Grade: 4/5

Read(listened) for Nalini Singh's Stroke of Enticement.Annie and Zach.It was short, but I don't feel that we missed out on anything. Though, we didn't get to see much if any of Zach's history, whereas we did learn a lot about Annie. So this one was much less balanced than the others in the Psy-Changeling series.Still quite enjoyable, with several very good quotes.Narration by Angela Dawe. As usual, she did an excellent job, though the child voices were a bit strained to my ear.

I only read the Nalini Singh short story. My rating is based only on that story.
