I keep going back and forth between 2.5 and 3 stars. It was ok. There were parts that I glossed over a paragraph or two just to move it along and was causing the lower rating. There were parts that I was caught up in the relationship and intrigued by the drama. Somewhere towards the end of the book I got hooked and couldn't put it down. The only cause I can think of was because Boa started having real emotions. Even though a lot things just didn't make sense. Then it just f-ing ended - total disappointment - there is so much more to the story. I couldn't put it down at the end and have been debating about one-clicking the next book all day. I really don't know how to rate this book.... I loved it but I felt like there was a lot left out of it. I wanted the relationship with Reds husband explained...it was never explained & although it's not a reality book I like this to be explained as to why he treated her the way he does. we need to know the rest of their story.I am starting to get flustered with Red & Bassy bc I feel they belong together. they do need to grow up & make a move one way or the other. this book has a lot of potential. that's why I give it 4 stars. I liked it even though there are gaps. maybe book two will explain.
Different than I thought it would be, however still willing to adventure on and read the next one!
