The marriage agenda is a classic marriage of connivence storyline set in Washington DC. Knox is the son of a disgraced senator who has decided to run for his father's seat. He has been advised to marry to become a more electable. Knox decides to proposed to Chloe his ex-girlfriend a reporter. She is confused by his proposal and ultimately decides to accept, because she want the exposure to the important politicians for her career. They are both determined to accomplish their own agendas and along the way they end up falling for each other. The main characters are refreshing realistic, with the possible exception of Knox's mother and father. The book was fast paced and fun.I received a free copy for an honest review. This was a good story. Was about 150 pgs. I felt that there were times it was missing details. Chloe was all set to go on a blind date. It was her first date in a year since her ex, Knox left her since he didn't believe in love or marriage. But when she shows up to meet her date, Knox is at the bar with her favorite drink waiting. Knox has he sit so they can talk. When her date comes in, he focuses on Knox and then notices that his date was sitting at the table with Knox. Knox sweet talks the guy to leave and he get Chloe to himself. After a hot night in bed, he tells her he needs a wife so he can run for office since his dad left office due to an infidelity. But what he offers is business and not love. Can Chloe live with him when she knows she loves him and he won't love her back. Then she discovers that Knox's dad was a bad man and committed fraud. Will she expose his father and rune Knox's family name and her husband, or will she chose her job over Knox?
