The Masseuse (2013) - Plot & Excerpts

In The Masseuse, we are introduced to Jezebel (yes I said Jezebel) Carter, who at the urging of her sister goes to a spa to get a massage. She ends up on the table of masseur Ramsey Stone. Ramsey is not your every day masseur, he is filling in for someone and when he gives Jez a massage that she will not soon forget, she seeks his services again. However, when she calls the spa she finds out they do not have a “Ramsey “employed there. Feeling taken advantage of, she seeks the spas owner who just happens to be Kanga Jae Ramsey Stone. Soon the pair finds themselves face to face and become caught up in one another. As they become closer Jez starts to notice things may not be what they seem with her new beau, is he really just a businessman or is there more to this mysterious sexy Korean and Middle Eastern Hottie. Really good book, Ramsey is so sexy and mysterious. He was just what Jez needed. This book, while being a really great hot and steamy romance also touched on a few social issues such as racism and gang volience. This book is certain to keep your attention. The cliff hanger at the end will have you on the edge of your seat to find out what happens next, but you will have to wait on book two which is sure to be a winner. I highly liked this one! I want it give it a 4.5The Heroine: She comes off as a cool collected independent black woman with her nice job and nice house and very straight and narrow life style. In my opinion she seemed a bit life deprived. Meaning she didn't live life. She is CEO of a small business and she is honestly the shit. She had life by the horns. The Heroine: He is a different type of bad boy and I love that. He is Asian(Korean) and Egyptian. He is a masseuse and he ends up covering for another masseuse. In the beginning he seems kind of pervery but that's far from the truth he just goes for he wants and he wants the heroine. The story: How the hero was introduced into the story I practically swooned! *dramatic sigh*. This one pulled me in from the first couple of pages. It's really steamy and sometimes I just need that steam factor. The heroine try's to knock our pretentious hero to the the back burner but our hero wasn't having it. It was a whirlwind romance and I loved them together. The ended is a heart wrenching cliffhanger and I leaves you wanting more. I enjoyed this story and I will read the sequel to satisfy my hunger for Ramsey.
