What a let-down. Clive Cussler must have a love-hate relationship with Thomas Perry, his co-author for this Fargo Adventure book. Too bored to write his own stuff anymore, but enamored of the income stream from old fans, Cussler seems to have dictated that Perry dumbs down .... well, just about everything in this stupid book. Don't waste your time and certainly don't buy this junk. Shame on you, Cussler. The Fargos are a little more proactive in this book. They attempt to save an entire town from the Cartel. While the story is interesting, the Fargo s must stay in the jungles for a long time. Several months. There are also some unrealistic parts and important pieces of the puzzle seem to just appear. The author suggests that Sami has a covert background, this is new. In the end it is a good story but a little to ambitious.
What do You think about The Mayan Secrets (2013)?
Great read, as always. Like that the author brings historybinto his story.
