This book was such a disappointment. Lena (the daughter of her birth-mother who is a mermaid, and her father who is human), doesn’t meet her mermaid mother unitil there is only a quarter of the book left. Then she falls in love with a merman and has to choose between living underwater forever or with her family. Spoiler Alert: She chooses her family. And then pretty much the book is finished. I rate it 1 star for it seeming to drag and it got so boring. I liked it, until the ending.I began reading it and I've read it on 2 days.So it certenly took my interest. Her family, the secret her dad keeps, what happend to her mom.It felt real to me.I couldn't really identefy myself with her, but I could understand her actions. It kept me reading, but I would've liked another ending. It kept me unsatisfied....She abandonded a whole world where she is part of.It is a good book, and I read it with joy.:D
What do You think about The Mermaid's Mirror (2010)?
Nice mermaid fantasy involving a teenage girland her fascination with the ocean.

Good one. I came to think of whether Mermaids really exist!
