The Millionaire Fastlane: Crack The Code To Wealth And Live Rich For A Lifetime! (2011) - Plot & Excerpts
the good:I really liked the book. the advice was really down to earth and really honest about it. Like when MJ describes all the money making 'gurus' he is exposing himeself. I like that he mentions that whatever you are unhappy with you should take responsibility and be accountable, he also says to read, sign up for seminars that are true to themselves and not pricks trying to squeeze money out of you. He does say that 'get rich quick' exist but is not the same as 'get rich easy' which i thought he was really honest with what he was trying to convey. I like the desision making strategies he used it was bomb.and the book was really well written and very well put together.the bad:He literally destroyed any other good books out there, although he did argued it well. I think he wanted to have more credibility and so in the process he killed any other book about money, like 'rich dad, poor dad', 'richest man in babylon' ' the 4 hour work week' don't get me wrong he was doing some good arguing and where he is comming the advice in those books are really shit.the controversial/miscellaneousi really liked it. it was good advice he made me put more focus on what money has on me. because according to him the best way to be rich quick is being an entrepenour, and he is correct, also he focuses a lot on time over money, I liked the advice really good read if you are an interpreneur. so yeah learn financial literacy and take responsibility is the main message of the book. I thought the book was really insightful. I think the book has the capacity to change anybody's life, if followed with commitment. Or at least make someone a more effective individual. Having already read the Four Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss, I thought MJ was a lot more convincing and practical. The books calls for adopting a whole new mindset and lifestyle, which isn't really difficult. The stuff that our mind voice tells us we shouldn't be doing, that stuff's clearly cut out and interpreted perfectly. A great read!
