My eyes continue to glance over at him and I’m stunned but not surprised by the amount of girls throwing themselves at him. I know without a doubt he would be a hot soldier, one day. Given that I knew that’s what he wanted to be, from what I heard from Andrew. He could be wrong—John may end up changing his mind. He sits two rows in front and three rows to the right, providing me a perfect view. “You might as well give up.” a girl beside me declares and I glare. “What are you talking about?” I ask, I’ve never met this girl but I knew her. She’s the new foreign exchange student from France. Her English is okay but not perfect, with a strong accent she does well with the guys. It’s the least I could say for myself—which is a little sad. Then again, I’ve been told that I have my whole life for that type of stuff. So in the end, I don’t really mind. “He’s out of your league.” she says, “No offense.” “That’s totally offensive.” I retort and she shrugs her shoulders.
