She was a little surprised it was as easy as all that. She had thought he would rebuff her flirtations but while he wasn’t exactly a carefree flirt, he seemed decisive. And competitive. For a brief moment she wondered if he was kissing her because he wanted to or because he wanted to win, and therefore teach her a lesson. She didn’t know him well enough to gauge. She didn’t know him at all. But what she did know was that he was very sexy and very, very masculine. He made her aware of being female every second since she had arrived. So all of her internal warnings had fallen on deaf ears. Whatever. It wasn’t as if there was a whole lot to lose by kissing Liam. It wasn’t a real job. Besides, when he had told her why he’d quit rugby she’d felt herself grow soft, unable to continue dominating him, or her lame attempt at it. She’d felt empathy for him and that, paired with girl bits on fire, was a very dangerous combination.
