Very amusing (very English) tale of the life and loves of Coco Pinchard, Intrepid Woman Writer. Coco's coterie of friends and family are played out in emails she sends to them (and about them). Cute premise and a nice little satire, to boot. There are a few issues with typos; mainly names: Angie become Angle several times, and Byron becomes Bryon (or was it Bryan?). They won't interfere with your enjoyment of this little book. It's a good read if you're in the mood for something light and airy. Where to start? I never review books because I can never find the right words to explain how I felt about them, but here goes.. I absolutely LOVED this book. From the moment I picked it up I just couldn't put it down. The use of emails is what griped me the most, it gave an in depth feeling of Coco's emotions throughout and made her character seem so quirky and personal. Although at the beginning there was a lack of introduction to each of the characters that was quickly made up for as the book progressed! The Not So Secret Emails Of Coco Pinchard is a definite must read! It will literally have you laughing out loud.
This book will never win a literary award, but it kept me laughing from beginning to end!
