I was a drone. It was a slow start, admittedly- and I complained at first, but I soon forgot what I had to complain about, and now am just in awe. I finished it this morning. I literally jumped hearing 'The End'. I was not expecting that ending. I do hope that leaves room for maybe a little more on the story of Jamie, Clare, Roger, Brianna...or the kiddos. I have not decided to embark on the other books yet- I am gonna take a small break and visit my family, who have missed me, I am sure! Book One: Outlander: I am so glad I started reading this before the series aired on STARZ! This book was so amazing and transported me to 18th century Scotland. The beautiful rich history of Scotland and the romance against all odds of Claire and Jamie (a delicious Scot, if ever there was one)! I loved every second of it and plan to read Book 2 definitely before Season 2 starts in 2015! Read the book! Watch the series and dream of the beautiful Sassenach and her kilted red-headed Scot! I am in full agreement of the many others who have read it - A MUST-READ book!!I will update my review as I finish each book in the series!!

Rereading round one. I totally recommend Diana Gabaldon's books for anyone who reads.
