Roake has his own personal demands that he will never subject the perfect woman that he has found and married. Keeping his desires at bay, in hopes that he will never lose her. One day Roake forbade Jenna from entering a room that she found that was locked. Roake went away for business (or was it...), he returns later to find Jenna in that room... You have to read to find out what happens Very interesting (only thing I wish it was a bit longer...) I was really really looking forward to reading this. It was on my wishlist for ages until I found a site selling it in the UK, then it sat like a forbidden treasure in my computer for weeks until I decided the time was right which was last night. The story is very simple and because it's a short if I go into too much detail the whole thing will be given away. Basically its about a married couple with desires they keep hidden from one another until something happens and one of them has to face their punishment, the truth is out but will they accept each other for who they are?I wish I could have given this 4 stars the story wasn't bad, but at just 51 pages long, therein lies the problem, there was alot going on for so few pages, things moved at a very quick pace too quick for me, so everything just felt too rushed. I loved the punishment scenes (nothing cruel going on here) but just wished they had taken up more of the story. So all in all a pleasant quick read.....Not for readers who dislike adultery/mention of.
What do You think about The Pearl At The Gate (2008)?
I really enjoyed this short story. Hot and passionate!
