This book does a great job of explaining the events that led up to JFK's assassination, the event itself, & the aftermath for the younger reader. There was no language that was over a younger reader's head. The topic was well researched and explained in easy to understand terms. It is definitely aimed at a younger audience who may not be familiar with that fateful day in November. That being said, it was a good read. This topic has always held fascination for me and I am quick to read any book about it, no matter it's target audience. The President has been Shot is a fantastic book. This book gives you the whole story on how President Kennedy got shot, and it also includes diagrams and backstories on every character who took part in the murder. I really enjoyed reading The President has been Shot. This book wasn't just facts, the author made history interesting, and enjoyable. I didn't want to put down this book. I would recommend The President has been Shot to anyone who loves any type of history.
I liked this one, but I think I'd rather read the full version. This one seemed just too sparse.
