Gwen has had the day from hell all she wants to do is take her soaking wet clothes off get in the sofa and close her eyes but Gwen has a letter with big ugly writing on it URGENT. Aiden Manning hates these parties they really wasn't his scene he was left sitting at the bar nursing his drink.Aiden was the youngest executive his company had ever had and people thought they knew Aiden the man who kept himself to himself but you can never know someone truly unless they want you too know them.I enjoyed this book and it was an easy read some bits did feel a bit dragged out and my mind started to wonder and I felt myself wanting to skim pages.Lucy has done a good job at getting the reader to know the characters and too realise although Aiden could come across quite grumpy and pushy that he was hiding something and I found myself more feeling sorry for him.where as Gwens character I found a little bit too unsure if herself decision wise but towards the end Gwen seems to have sorted that out.All In all I have rated this a 3 star read and some parts were enjoyable maybe just a little dragged out. Gwen is a struggling college student who arrives at her apartment one night to discover her roommate gone and an eviction notice on their door.She is broke and has no one to turn to for help.Out at a party one night she meets Aiden Manning, gorgeous and brooding millionaire. Gwen finds him attractive and very secretive.After finding out Gwen’s circumstance, Aiden offers her a proposition: money for pretending to be his girlfriend.After struggling with her morals, Gwen accepts his offer because she has no other choices.After a while, pretending turns into the real thing. Except there is someone who will stop at nothing to tear them apart.This was a cute story but unfortunately it was lacking emotion and feeling. I just could not connect with the characters. The story line was ok but just not excitingenough for me.
Lucy has a similar book out that much better. They the same way and lead character is named Gwen.
