3.5 starsThis was a sweet new kind of Cinderella story. I loved the quirky heroine Bronwyn. She was bookish and an old 20 something, to old to marry according to her step-mother. And then one day she meets Alexsey, not knowing that he is a visiting prince. They meet and sparks fly, but part of the Prince rebels as the urging of his grandmother that he must marry. All in all, this story is cute and fun which is a trademark of Karen Hawkins books. The ARC was provided by NetGalley for an honest review I am a huge fan of Karen Hawkins previous books with the meddling Duchess so I was super excited to read this book! I loved the characters and the whole story line! There were a few things I didn't like so I couldn't give it the five stars, but overall this book kept me wanting to read more! I was especially shocked with how the ending played out! Can't wait to read about the other princes :)
Very enjoyable historical romance. As always, author provides humor and well-written story.

So bad. This entire story reads like Pepé Le Pew chasing the poor black kitty cat.
