I think I enjoyed the development of Anne's character most of all. She got what she wanted and good for her. I also enjoyed the details of Aunt Catherine's interview with Darcy and his physical revulsion. Overall an interesting viewpoint which was obviously well researched. I like details about how gentlemen filled their time looking after their estates. Their exploits with the serving girls are hardly different from sexual mores now, though with more unfortunate consequences possibly for the women. I just wonder if he wore those delightful slippers... Private diary, indeed! I have been reading and enjoying a lot of Austen sequels lately. I understand these are not meant to be classics and often put some beloved characters in interesting new situations, but I draw the line with Mr. Darcy bedding a servant girl repeatedly while staying at Netherfield. I mean, seriously? I read 90 pages but could do no more. The diary entries are sometimes so brief as to not be even worth reading. Others are by turn boring and outrageous. Fans of JA sequels would do well to skip this one.
It was an entertaining view of Mr Darcy's supposed thoughts...I enjoyed it....

Very well written! Only criticism would be too much inclusion of Lord Byron.
