Can she break away from her family's expectations? And will she ever be loved for who she truly is? A cute read while it lasted, but some of the things in there didn't really quite click to me. How did the problems start? Was there a trigger point? And the perceptions just changed in a snap of the fingers - the characters were either supportive of one notion and then just as suddenly they are not (without proper explanation or buildup)That aside, this was a pretty good read. Not one I would be raving about, but I did enjoy this read. I liked the historical markers and how rebellious and stubborn Lucy is. Still some mysteries to figure out which if the series goes on, I think I would give it a go.
