3.5/5the beginning of this book and the ending of this book were both thrilling and page turning. the middle however seemed to drag on far too long, and nothing against the story, the writing style wasn't a favorite. but I did enjoy the characters a lot, especially zabriel I don't know why. he was funny, and determined and I loved the parts of the book that showed memories of the faerie world. the characters were all charming and fun to read about such as Fane, Spex and Shea. oh and I'm totally loving the Tom romance thing far better than Davic lol. overall the only thing bumping this book down to 3 stars instead of 5 was the middle of the book, which was dragged on far too long. will I read the sequel? probably, but it won't be at the top of my list The Queen's Choice was a really enjoyable read for me, which often had me on the edge of my seat. It had great character development, mystery and the contrast between the Fae and human worlds was also very interesting.I was intrigued by many of the characters. Others may disagree, but I found Spex a character that I hope to read more about. I felt sorry for him, but admired what he was doing for those close to him at the same time. Zabriel brought some good humour to the book and was also an interesting character. Anya was a strong female lead character, and I marvelled at her empathy and dedication to her cause. It was left on a cliffhanger, and there are still many more memories yet to be solved, so I'm looking forward to the next book.I would definitely recommend this book.
What do You think about The Queen's Choice (2014)?
3.5 stars - the beginning was slow for me but I thought it got better toward the end.
