Good writing, great discriptions, good development in characters. I, however, felt the book had a very morbid feeling. Which when dealing with a lot of death, I supposed automatically happens, but this one was almost to the verge of depression about death. I love the fact that Torin was unlike most lead males in the new adult genre. He was a virgin, which is unique, and not a 'bad boy', so that was quite refreshing. I give it a solid 4, but it's not a favorite. This is one of those books that's hard to review or give stars too. I felt it could have been a 5 star review, however there was just something that I didn't connect to with the story. I loved Torin, he was sweet and patient. But, I thought, he came across as a 50 year old in a 19 year olds body. I also found that parts of the book 'told' the story rather than let the reader live it. On the whole I'd recommend it.
What do You think about The Rules Of Regret (2013)?
Recommended by Colleen Hoover , and she doesn't disappoint wether in writing or referring!!
