Reading for my Wordy Women book group.3 and a half.So I can totally see why people would love this touching story. It just hit too close to home for me--making it painful to read at times not to mention how that also made me see it as being very ideal how everyone responded (esp. teenagers) and everything worked out. Though I'm sure that was the intent of this book=to make us feel good and inspire us to remember the true meaning of Christmas (a message I always appreciate). Justin got at the Wheeler party 2010. About the Jensen family the father was killed on Chistmas Eve. Emma went into a deep depretion. A friend starts sending her letters from Santa to try to get them to remember the true meaning of Christmas. The gift of warmth, music, traditions, laughter, friendship, support, jutice and mercy, forgiveness, health and good cheer, heritage, services and family, parents love. Very good concept. Not a fast read and didn't alwasy run smooth.
