Erin and Reason meet early one morning in front of a coffee shop, their conversation starts over a dog tied to a tree. Erin takes the dog home and he becomes her good friend. Reason becomes her realtor. And so much more. This is a love story. Erin and Reason find that they are a very good fit together. This is a mystery. There is a kidnapping and a theft. This is a sweet story of faith and responsibility and integrity and love.If you are a believer in fantasy, and you know that Santa is as real as your next door neighbor, this is a book you will love. I believe and this story just confirmed it – of course there is a Santa and he is a man of many gifts. This was such an interesting story and quite different from the many holiday stories I have read over the years. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Even though, at times, I wanted to give the main female character a little shake to get her out of her "oh woe is me" funk and look at things as they are and not through her pain and loss. I enjoyed the authors take on St. Nicholas/Father Christmas/The Wise Men and their Gifts for the Christ child. This story stretched my mind and my heart. The only problem I had with this e-book was the few times where words were misspelled or the wrong tense was used or punctuation was missing.
A fun an quirky read about Christmas. Helped get me into the Christmas spirit.
