I'm only writing this out of hatred. Pure human hatred. And I hate the book even more, considering it isn't bad. Cute idea, good descriptions and beautiful writing. Some stupid situations and plot holes, true, but that's another story. I will exclusively talk about the lead female character, because comparing to her, everything bad in this book seems pure genius. I cannot even remember her name, that's how she pissed me off.She is SO stupid. I mean, too stupid to even exist. While I was reading, I was actually trying to remember if and where I have found a more or at least equal idiot woman. I couldn't. That just doesn't exist. She makes Bella Swan look like Marie Curie. So what if YA female characters have no personality and no actual life beyond their prince charming? Here we're talking about female stupidity at its best. Not only that she is 39 years old, but she is a freakin' psychiatrist. Meaning she is supposed to be someone smart, enduring and with actual life experience. She treats patients for years, she has money, friends, a wonderful career and success at men. A role model for women.And she meets a guy and they fuck. And he is a psycho, a real psycho study case. And this female psychiatrist just doesn't realize it. I did, and trust me, I'm not a professional, this guy had mental all over his forehead. At one point, he invites the stupid idiotic useless female doctor at his place, and they fuck. During all the fucking, which made her brain cells explode and the medical classes erase or something, he tells her literally that his mommy was a bitch, and so were all the women in his family. And she looks so much like his mommy. See what I mean?Quod erat demonstrandum. Why isn't she seeing this? Because he owns a Ferrari I guess.
