I did not care for this book. I couldn't get into the initial premise of the story where the main character gets left at the altar and just happens to walk by her friend's brother (that she used to have a crush on when she was younger) as she is trying to process the situation. As he tries to comfort her, she flippantly suggests that he should marry her (And hey, why not? There was already a wedding set up) so they get married. From that point on, it is hard to believe in the passion in their relationship (although I give the author points for creativity here) not to mention the fact that the groom has PTSD which causes him at times to forget where he is and attack people thinking he is still a prisoner in the war. Bonus points also for being set in the Scottish highlands but other than that not one I am going to recommend.

Reminded me of Ian's story a little too much.
