If Helen Fielding and Sophie Kinsella were tossed in a blender, this is what you'd get. The protagonist, Maggie Lane, is at times dense but her jabs can be smart as a whip. This book would be a good beach read, and I will eventually be reading the second in the series. For my guilty pleasure chick-lit, this book more than adequately fits the bill. I love the cultural references. I found it to be light, fluffy, and funny - almost like literary cotton candy. Hi i am Maggie's Diary ,Well i am going to tell you a story and Maggie's thoughts, i m a hopeless romantic.I am all so in love with some one who i work with but he does not know it,But he said we are friends. I have a Bucket list and they are 1.Fall in love someone tall dark and handsome 2 loose weight 3 loose weight 4 write a book .Well my best friend Gail who does not need any thing done to her or lose weight want me to run a marathon with her.Diary it me again Maggie well guess what i got to get in shape and now guess what fat butt has to get in to shape to run,Well i am at the gym and then i fall and guess what he was Tall Dark and Handsome but guess what it my brother best friend blakey. Yea he tall dark and handsome but i told him i pay him to help me get in to shape till i found out who he was.Flash forward my friend who i had said i was in love with has a girlfriend but she skinny as bean pole.But Diary guess what i might not be a six but i can write so i get even i put a add in the Ted list posting a want be pre 2009 ply boy model need roommate rent 400 and will have to give back rub at least 3 time week.Well it was a hit she got a lot of call and email ha ha. Well Diary guess what Ben and my best friend Gail is mad at me now .Well i got some of the book done while every s mad at me but now something gone bonkers i think i am in love both of the B's Blake and Brian.time has passed and now Gail want to know about the book and other thing happen.Diary i think i going in circles you see Brian like Gale my Best frond and now Blake like Bridget i think she work with him wow what am i going to do now i now write my book. You see diary i been out with Blake a couple of time and he talk about Bridget all the time So what a girl going to do i am seeing a guy who Blake set me up with for the purpose to do the book but you see thing are going good for me or i thought it was i m doing my work and then doing tv yea i am going to be TV star.you will in joy the book i was given this book on the 6 of march and read it you have to see what happens to the people in the book i did this review and it my opinion i did it as the person wrote in a diary

Over all it is a feel good read. A bit jumpy T times...or maybe too fast.
