The Sheik's Defiant Fiancée (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
So this is the third story I've read in this series but it's the first chronologically. Again, this author's books remind me of fluffy harlequins romances so I'm not expecting too much, I am glad they've all been free. Zero development of the characters and hardly any description of anything. I came away not really knowing what they were supposed to look like, except she had dark hair and is shorter than him and he is tall with dark eyes.Laila is to marry a sheik she has only met once, she's determined not like him because she believes he is a womanizer. She actually proposes that they view their marriage as a business arrangement and have children through in-vitro with no sex. She's supposed to be educated but she acts like a ninny most the time. I wouldn't have been surprised if she stamped her foot.I don't know why he finds her so alluring but that is the premise. He seduces her and she falls all over him but still doesn't trust him. It all gets tied up in a bow in the end.So, it was ok and mildly entertaining.

I was surprisingly disappointed with this one. I've read others by this author & LOVED them
