I had a hard time getting into this book for the first approx. 20 pages, but then the story really started to move and I was really enjoying it. I would have rated it much higher but I was very disappointed in how she ended the story. I wasn't happy with the sister's choices and there were too many things that left the reader hanging.Side note: this error completely floored me: "...As they rose, he gave Pete air. Not with a regulator, and not mouth-to-mouth, but somehow magically he transferred H2O to Pete's bloodstream."Umm just NO. I thoroughly enjoyed this heartwarming book about a family packing up memories as well as belongings from their old family home. A family mystery of what happened to their father was finally cleared up when all three sisters went to Ireland. They found that their father did not forget them or let them down. He was on his way home when his boat sank but he had found the old land grant and this was used to save the home place.
The novel keeps you entertained but not one I'd say I couldn't put down.

Boring. Didn't care for the characters or about them.

Confusing at some points, but a good story overall.
