Ralf shook his head as he tried to make sense of it. All around his sister, extending a good six inches out from her body was, a shimmering halo of colour, which ranged from palest blue to an extraordinary shade of violet. She rushed to him and pulled him towards the mirror. ‘Look!’ The mirror showed Ralf what she meant. The left hand side of his face was a particularly vivid shade of purple.
