Instead of retreating after her rejection during lunch yesterday, he seemed to have redoubled his efforts into getting her to soften up to him. But even though a small part of her was flattered by Kevin’s attention, she truly didn’t want to have anything to do with him again. Gosh, he’d only just separated from his wife and he was already hitting on her! She grabbed her phone and tapped Brad’s number.
