At the midpoint of this series the questions are still adding up and very few if any are being answered which is starting to be a bit tiresome, I'm hoping we will begin to get more than questions in the next volume. I also feel that while book one's story was fairly capable of standing on its own, the further we get the less the stories are able to stand alone or be a full circle within itself like say Harry Potter or His Fair Assassin. However, it is still quite a delightful series and splendid listen and remains in my top favorites. Here's looking forward to the next three volumes! The Incorrigibles are even more adorable as they get older and their vocabulary increases. Young Miss Penelope Lumley has proven her considerable governess skills though just 16 years of age and has grown up quite a bit herself! Some readers were upset that this book raised more questions than it answered. I disagree. Even if Lamarooo hasn't put all the pieces together yet, she certainly has a lot of new clues to investigate. Katherine Kellgren narrates with her usual spunk and energy, giving each character a distinctive and fitting voice. Much fun.
What do You think about The Unseen Guest (2013)?
This continues to be one of the best children's series out there.
