She will get the ball moved to her brother’s home and she will prepare everything so that it will be identical to the previous 74 years of this gala.The two of them are funny together. He has no desire to have his life changed in any way. She intends to complete her plan to move the ball to her brother’s home. It is as though she has tunnel vision and her goal is all she sees. This is a well written novella. The plot is entertaining. Amelia and Benedict are charming and the conversations between the two are filled with challenges which never go unanswered. It is a game of wits which becomes a game of attraction and desire.If you are looking for a short romantic story, this is perfect for you. Enjoy. After I readi and thoroughly enjoyed Ms.Ridley first novel, I had to immediately research and read this story. Iam so impressed with her writing and style and I was so delighted to discover that she had continued her level of skillful and beautiful writing in this story.I like when a book doesn't let the story cause me to lose interest. The pacing was perfect, the title of the story is The Viscount Christmas Tempation is funny witty and meant to entertain. It's just the kind of story I love to read when reading a Historical Romance. The hero and heroine was delightful, it matched two strong personalities which just makes the story more interesting. I am a big believer in sexual tension which is perfectly created in the " Viscount Christmas Temptation story. That was another reason I was drawn to this story. I was smiling as I read Amelia and Benedict was so witty that I knew wouldn't get tiresome or ridiculous to the point you want to scream, you don't worry that they will need a room because that the beauty of Historical is to be subjective but not get done with it!!" LOL not in this story, the tension was present and continued to build through the story until the hero and heroine finally was able to be together it's the kind that can bring a tear to your eye. Ms. Ridley has a gift for writing love scenes. I just can't say enough about that. Her love scenes were written from the heart and it shows. They are tastefully done and memorable.The characters were well developed and lovable, there is a another element to stories that I look for is character development, it's so powerful when a character starts out one way and through out the course of the story there is the effect of the love interest has on that of the character causes their love to grow.
