This was a romance with a bit of humor mixed in. Some of the characters even me reminded of some people I know. Very entertaining and quick read. It was a bit of Covert Affairs feel with the humor of Castle. I love if when books have a feel of things that I am already hooked on because it keeps me interested and this book did just that. This book is a stand alone but there are other books in the series which I am considering pick up. Beth latches on to a guy she thinks is a thief in a desperate attempt to fool her mother and ex-boyfriend into thinking she has a date for her friend’s wedding. Alex is incredibly thoughtful and supportive for a thief, even for a gigolo, but since he’s actually an undercover agent, his concern is actually kind of worrying. Their improbable hookup quickly morphs into a suspenseful thriller where the danger almost as hot as their connection!
I absolutely loved this book hoping to read more from this author soon..took me a day to finish this
