The Wicked House Of Rohan (2010) - Plot & Excerpts
This was a very short read but set up the series well and i am intrigued. I will defiantly read the next one in the series, how this group of reprobates behaves will be interesting and i liked the writing style. Anne Stuart was a new author for me but i will read more, I loved the down on her luck heroine and rakish hero hope to see more of them and their growing love in the full length novels can't wait. As far as novellas go, this wasn't bad. Any decent one leaves you wanting more, given their short length; TWHoR was no exception. My biggest complaint was the rather abrupt ending. I must note, this is a prequel to a series I've not read (it's actually my first go at the author at all), but I enjoyed it enough that I might read Book 1. I listened to the audio version, though- and I must say, the narrator was HORRIBLE. This could have been SO. Much. Better. had it been performed properly. 3 1/2 stars for the novella; no stars for the recording~
