The cute, colorful cover of this book is what initially attracted me to it. I was in the mood for a light read, and The Wicked Wager fit the bill! It was a fun and unique blend of Regency romance, bedroom farce, and murder mystery. I enjoyed the humor throughout and was truly surprised by the twist at the end of the book, which I give kudos to the author for because I usually see these things coming from a mile away! I look forward to reading more from this author. This is the second book I have read by this author, and even though they aren't really a series, this was written before the other book, so I probably should have read this one first.I liked the book, but the second book is much more funny and comical, and I was waiting for that in this book the whole time. If I had read this one first I might have enjoyed it betteer and not have been looking for more comedy in this book. Over all it was well written and I enjoyed it enough to sit and read it in one day.
What do You think about The Wicked Wager (2012)?
I really enjoyed this read. It had comedy, suspense, romance and a very, very witty duke.

Fun read! Figured out the "murderer", but couldn't figure out the why until the very end.

Kindle freebie. Silly and fun, but not clean if I remember correctly.
