I am not sure who recommended this author, but I am glad they did. I really like Ms. Neville's writing style. I was immediately drawn into the story and the characters. This is the first book of the series which is based on Bibliophiles and their acquiring books, books, and more books. If you are not interested in the world of books and book collectors, you might be put off by the 'book buying/selling' details. I usually find an author that wants to educate me while telling me a story off-putting. However, since I love books, it did not get in the way of the story. I kept visualizing the title as "A wild Marquis appeared!" and the hero as a Pokemon. Um. Don't question my thought processes.I quite enjoyed the book. It was fun. And I liked the view into the world of Regency bibliophiles, as I don't believe it's something I've come across in a romance before.I found Chase to be the least interesting among him, Iverley, and Compton. I think I'm getting tired of heroes who are rakes with hearts of gold.
Could not get past the first 50 pgs. of this book. For some reason, I didn't find it interesting.

A rake who genuinely likes woman. How rare! This was a fun book with a good mystery.

Interesting story just not told in the best way, I think. Many details happening...
