Well, it was good but it dragged in places. The characters were interesting and believable, I just didn't really relate to Casey. So in the end its a good, relatable and believable story and characters. But I just didn't relate to Casey!Casey ~ Don't get me wrong she was a hoot, but at the same time I just didn't like her. I really don't get why she ran when she thought she might be pregnant. I mean she's 26/27, she dealt with it like a teenager. I know from experience, I became pregnant when I was 19 but I didn't run I dealt with the consequences and became a single mom at 20. But in the end she did put on her big girl panties and face the consequences of her actions! I just thought it was too easy for her when she came back! But that's my own opinion!Scott ~ I liked/love him a lot, he was such a good guy even with the rocker facade! He didn't play it like he was one. I think that's why he stood out so much to me, I would of seen him make Casey apologize and/or prove how sorry she was. Instead he took her back with almost no explanation, but hey to each his own!Overall its a great story, I just didn't like Casey! But she isn't the firstMC I haven't liked and probally want be the last! Till next time ~ Sweets Books I love Jade C Jamison's writing so I'm merrily reading anything and everything I can from her previous releases."Then Kiss Me" was an unusual book. I loved it don't get me wrong but there was a difference to the writing style from Jade's more recent books. Whether it was deliberate or not it worked from my perspective. I suspect Jade just developed her own writing style from this point forward. I really enjoyed the story and the relationship which developed between Casey and Scott. The characters blended well together although Casey was another female lead who I wanted to scream at and possibly get violent with, despite that the story ended with a HEA so I'm a happy bunny!Although Scott plays in a band this is not really what I term a "band based" book, unlike some of Jade's other books, but the connection worked and brought the characters closer together. What shall I read next???!!!! MADversary me thinks.
What do You think about Then Kiss Me (2000)?
Always love her books! Always excited for the next one.
