I am glad for that click. This was a wild ride book. It had love, drama, and suspense. This is a second chance story for Mike and Sara. Years ago Mike and Sara were torn apart by a misunderstanding that caused Mike to leave without a word to anyone leaving Sara alone and pregnant and not knowing how to get in touch with him. The misunderstanding is found out quickly, thank goodness. Sara got a bit on my nerves as she blamed Mike for the misunderstanding when she was as much to blame for not really trying to sort it out. Sara's family is a focus in the book. She has three brothers and an uncle looking out for her. I have to say that I wasn't a fan of Garrett until much later in the book. Mike is a cop and realizes there is something fishy going on in their lives. The drama unfolds from there. I loved the first meeting of Mike and Ethan. That scene grabbed my heart. I felt every emotion Mike did. No cliffhanger. Stand alone but part of a family series. Dual point of view.
