This Book Is Overdue!: How Librarians And Cybrarians Can Save Us All (2010) - Plot & Excerpts
This just didn't grab me the way I wanted it to. Maybe it was the audio, but there wasn't anything wrong with the narration; I think it's just that I wanted something different out of this book and didn't get it. I already know how awesome librarians are; I am one. The people who need to read this book are the sort who will never pick it up and are unlikely to even realize it exists. Kudos to Johnson for writing it anyway! I'm glad there are people out there who are paying attention to how dynamic and interesting this field is. I found this to be a fascinating look at the lovely folks who bring us not only books but information in most any form that we need it. I may be biased, as I hope to become a librarian, but I think even if you're not planning to enter this field, it could still be interesting to read about the new ways in which libraries, librarians, books, and new technology are starting to intersect with each other.
What do You think about This Book Is Overdue!: How Librarians And Cybrarians Can Save Us All (2010)?
