Thomas & January was such a great addition to the Callum & Harper story. Thomas is a friend to Callum & Harper, but this is his story. Thomas was in a music lover, he played in a band, but now he works for a music label scouting for new bands. January is a music lover, and a pianist who becomes a new employee to the same label. These two characters are both unlucky in love, they do not get along, both are equally stubborn. Thomas is assigned to travel all over Europe to scout for new bands, January is asked to accompany him as an understudy. The two unlikely pair travel to romantic places in Europe, working closely together,. Can these two let their past not affect the future? Wow, just fucking wow. Fisher Amelie had yet again rendered me speechless. I know, it's a "typical" YA novel. Well, guess what? I actually enjoyed reading it. No, scratch that, I fucking love love love this book. Thomas and January, just like Callum and Harper, is a tale of a bittersweet skinny love. With a perfect amount of romance and a perfect amount of humor, I was floored by this series. The thing is, Callum (Sleepless #1) and Thomas (Sleepless #2), were once self-proclaimed cowards when it comes to love. And somehow, I will admit, I can feel what they've been going through. But then they met Harper and January, and they got damned hell stirred up and they were really swept off. Deciding between taking the risk or just slumping and inhibiting under one's own throne of lies, they decided that nothing is as worth as losing the two girls in their oh-so-miserable lives. And Jesus Christ. JANUARY MACLOCHLAINN HAD GOT TO BE THE SWEETEST, COOLEST, BESTEST, AND ADORABLE-EST FEMALE FICTIONAL CHARACTER EVER. I mean, she's spontaneous, and sweet and sarcastic and I can go on with numerous adjectives here but it would still be an understatement on her part. Screw Alaska Young, screw Hazel Grace Lancaster, screw Lux Lisbon, screw Harper Bailey. I love me some January MacLochlainn.A bunch of adjectives and adverbs wouldn't suffice my feelings for Sleepless series. But one thing's for sure, I FUCKING NEED MORE. I HOPE IT'S ABOUT CHERRY AND CHARLIE :(
